1. STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These are the standard terms and conditions for our Website Design and related services and apply to all contracts and all work undertaken by Us for our clients.

2. PAYMENTS AND CHARGES

  • Web Design (General):

Payment is due in full within:

a) 30 days of us demonstrating your website for testing and feedback – or

b) within 15 days of your website being made live

whichever date is the sooner.

  •  Web Design (E-Commerce Websites):

As part of any e-commerce website design service, we will load up to 20 of your products onto your website in order for you to fully test the functionality of your website. If you require additional products loaded before the website is made live, you will be given the opportunity and guidance to either load them yourself free-of-charge or, if you request us to, we will load them for you at an additional charge.

  • Website Hosting:

Payment is due in full before acquirement or renewal of your domain registration and commencement of your annual website hosting plan

3. SUPPLY OF MATERIALS / CONTENT

You must supply all materials and information required by us to complete the work in accordance with any agreed specification or timescale. Such materials may include, but are not limited to, photographs, written copy, logos and other printed material. Where there is any delay in supplying these materials to us which leads to a delay in the completion of work, we have the right to extend any previously agreed deadlines by a reasonable amount.

Where you fail to supply materials, and that prevents the progress or completion of the order, we reserve the right to invoice you for any part or parts of the work already completed.

4. MAKING CHANGES

We are pleased to offer you the opportunity to make revisions to the design of your website during the testing process.

However, we reserve the right to limit the number of design proposals to a reasonable amount and may charge if you make repeated changes to the original design specification that consequent in rework to us. We commit to discussing these with you and obtaining your agreement before any charges become due.

5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

You must obtain all necessary permissions and authorities in respect of the use of all copy, graphic images, registered company logos, names and trademarks, or any other material that you supply to us to include in your website.

You must indemnify us and hold us harmless from any claims or legal actions related to the content of your website.

6. SEARCH ENGINES

We do not guarantee any specific position in search engine results for your website. Our website design will be undertaken according to current SEO best practices and after it has been made live, we will submit your website’s sitemap to Google for analysis and registration.

7. CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS

We shall not be liable for any loss or damage which you may suffer which is in any way attributable to any delay in performance or completion of our contract, however that delay arises. This includes and is not limited to, the loading of your pricing and availability, property details and delivery of electronic information via email and website contact forms.

8. BACKUPS

If your website is hosted on our Managed Hosting Service, we will undertake regular backups for our retention..

If your website is hosted on our Self-Managed Hosting Service or on a third party host outside of our administration, we will not be in a position to administer any backups.
