In 2016 our Self Managed Hosting Plan launched at a price approximately 20% -40% less than services (of a much lower specification) offered by any of the major hosting providers.

By the close of 2023, after several years of industry wide price rises, our Self Managed Hosting Service sells for up to 250% less than comparable services offered by the major Hosting Providers.

  • How we can afford to do this

    Our business model is completely different to that of a typical Hosting Services Provider.

    We may both provide similar services, but whereby Owners Websites will connect customers’ domains, email services and SSL certificates to their hosting service, a Hosting Services Provider will not do any of this.

    This creates somewhat of a problem for Hosting Services Providers as essentially they provide a suite of technical services – to a client base that, generally, does not have any website technical expertise whatsoever. As a result, the cost of providing customer support is significant and can contribute in the region of 50% towards their pricing.

  • Changes to our Pricing

    The wholesale price that we pay for hosting services will be rising by 40% in 2024. Consequently we need to make an adjustment to the pricing of some products.

    The annual price of our Self-Managed Hosting Service will rise from £89 to £110 per year.

    Managed Service – for existing customers

    The annual price of our Managed Hosting Service will remain the same at £199 per year.

    The annual price of our Managed Hosting Service will rise to £220 per year.

    The Offer

    The price of our Managed Hosting Service for new customers will rise from £199 to £220.

    This limited time offer provides the opportunity for existing Self-Managed Hosting Service customers to upgrade their plan to our Managed Hosting Service in 2024 and take advantage of the original Managed Hosting Service pricing.

    Requests need to be received before 1 April 2024, and will require one payment of £199 (The original cost of the Managed Hosting Service).

    Benefits

    • The above payment will renew your domain and hosting services from the date in 2024 that they were originally scheduled to renew, for a further 12 months.
    • You will receive the added and early benefits of the Managed Hosting Service from your payment date all the way through until your renewal date in 2025.
    • You will also receive the benefit of the £21 cost saving by upgrading to the Managed Hosting Service at its original price.

    From 1 April 2024:

    The above offer expires on 31 March 2024. Thereafter customers wishing to upgrade from the Self Managed Hosting Service to the Managed Hosting Service may do so at the time of their renewal at the new price of £220 / year.
